2006-07: Once again found himself battling injuries during the season, but was able to earn his second-straight NCAA Tournament bid thanks to a fifth-place finish at the EIWA Championship ... turned in a 21-8 record, including an 8-2 dual match mark ... opened the year with a second-place finish at the Eastern Michigan Open where he was pinned in the title match by Michigan State's Nick Simmons ... missed the next month nursing an injury ... returned to the mat in late December where he placed third at the annual Southern Scuffle ... won his first three matches at the Scuffle, including a 10-6 decision over 14th-ranked Ricky Deubel of Cornell ... pinned Virginia's Eric Albright in the third-place match ... turned in a 2-1 record at the Lone Star Duals, including a 3-1 decision over Oklahoma's Joe Comparin ... won four straight dual matches, including a 5-3 victory over 10th-ranked Evan Sola from North Carolina ... suffered a shoulder injury against East Stroudsburg on Jan. 24 that kept him from competing at the All-Academy Championship ... helped lead Navy to its seventh consecutive win over Army by defeating William Simpson, 11-4, in the annual Star Match ... dropped a 7-5 sudden victory match against Bucknell's David Marble in the opening match at the EIWA Championship ... battled back through the consolation bracket where he was matched up against Marble in the fifth-place match ... 2005-06: Baker fought off injuries to produce an 11-2 record, a third-place finish at the EIWA Championship and a berth to wrestle at the 2006 NCAA Championship ... after spending 14 months recovering from a season-ending injury in 2004-05, Baker dropped his first match back, a 9-3 decision to Lehigh's John Stout in a dual match ... bounced back and won nine-consecutive matches beginning with an 11-7 win over NC State's Garrett Cummings on Jan. 28 ... also earned dual-meet wins over American's Jordan Lipp (7-5) and a technical fall against Army's Frankie Baughan (20-4) to win the N Star ... won the All-Academy Tournament which included a pin against John Victoria of the Merchant Marine Academy ... seeded fourth at the EIWA Championship, he won his first two matches, including pinning Trent Dixon of Franklin & Marshall in the opener ... dropped a heart-wrenching 11-8 decision to Penn's Matt Valenti, the eventual 2006 NCAA Champion ... came back to pin Army's Baughan and defeated 19th-ranked Mike Mormile of Cornell to finish third and earn a bid to wrestle at the NCAA Championship ... dropped his opener against 18th-ranked Gabriel Flores, 9-3, before handling 19th-ranked Andrae Hernandez of Indian in the consolation bracket, 16-9 ... his NCAA hopes ended with a 12-9 loss to Northern Iowa's Christopher Helgeson ... wrestling unattached, he won the Penn State Open in December before returning to the Naval Academy for the second semester of the 2005-06 academic year ... named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Penn State Open, after defeating North Carolina All-American Evan Sola in the quarterfinals and eventually winning the title.

2004-05: Wrestled in just two dual meets, before suffering season-ending shoulder injury ... left school in the spring semester and received a medical redshirt, enabling him to compete as a freshman in 2005-06 ... one of his losses was an 11-10 loss to 14th-ranked Efren Ceballos, an All-American from Cal State-Bakersfield.
