Nechanicky in 2007: Successfully made the switch from midfield to attack, but had his season cut short after tearing his ACL against Georgetown on March 31 ... produced 16 points on nine goals and seven assists and was the team's fourth-leading scorer in Patriot League games with 11 points on five goals and six assists ... though he played in all 15 games as a freshman, he entered his second year having recorded just one goal and one assist ... produced points in six of the nine games in which he played, five of which were multi-point games ... scored a career-high three goals in Navy's 13-5 victory over Canisius, including the game-winner ... also scored his only extra-man goal in that contest ... dealt out a pair of assists three times during the season, including two against Bucknell ... scored a pair of goals to go along with his two assists against the Bison to post a career-high four points ... turned in three-point performances vs. Lafayette, Lehigh and Canisius ... picked up a pair of grounders in three games to finish the year with six ground balls

2006: A starter in seven of the 15 games in which he played, Nechanicky produced a goal and an assist in his rookie campaign ... scored his first-collegiate goal in the Mids' regular-season win over Lehigh at home, 9-4 ... turned in his first-career assist against the Mountain Hawks in the opening round of the Patriot League Tournament ... picked up three grounders during the season ... earned the first start of his career in the Mids' Patriot League contest at Colgate ... followed up with starts against Lehigh and Holy Cross ... returned to the starting lineup on April 22, in Navy's battle against 12th-ranked Johns Hopkins ... appeared in the starting lineup for the final four games of the season.
