Harris had an outstanding freshman season, being one of seven players to play in all 30 games ... drew starts against NJIT and the Patriot League opener against Bucknell, and averaged 12.9 mpg ... scored at a 3.5 ppg clip, grabbed 1.4 rpg and dished out 1.2 apg ... led the team with a 1.30 assist-to-turnover ratio, which would have ranked third in the Patriot League ... recorded double-digit scoring games against Stony Brook (21 points; Nov. 19) and Bucknell (12 points; Feb. 2) ... connected on 7-of-10 shots (5-of-8 from three-point range) against the Seawolves ... also added career-high four rebounds and four assists in just 27 minutes against Stony Brook ... was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Nov. 20, after averaging 15.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 3.5 apg in just 23.0 mpg in two games during the week... started the year shooting 21-of-38 (.553) from the field and 14-of-27 (.519) from three-point range in the first seven games, averaging 8.4 ppg ... finished the season shooting 13-of-66 (.197) from the field and 10-of-48 (.208) from three-point range in the last 23 games ... tallied 12 points on four three-pointers in a nationally-televised contest against Bucknell (Feb. 2) ... hauled down four rebounds against Maryland-Eastern Shore (Nov. 21) and William & Mary (Nov. 28) ... had strong performances against Army, scoring four points with one assist and a career-best two steals in 14 minutes in the first meeting (Jan. 21) ... then went scoreless, but recorded a career-high five assists with no turnovers in 19 minutes in Navy's Star Game win in Alumni Hall (Feb. 17). Also hounded Army star Matt Bell into nine turnovers in the second meeting ... dished out assists in 17 games ... also handed out five helpers against Washington (Md.) (Dec. 20) ... scored nine points against Brown (Nov. 14) and William & Mary (Nov. 28) ... scored seven points with three rebounds, one assist and a steal against NCAA Tournament qualifier Villanova (Nov. 25) ... scored five points with an assist in just six minutes against Big East member St. John's ... a good free throw shooter, Harris made 11 of his last 14 attempts (.786) on the year.

HIGH SCHOOL / PERSONAL:
Spent the last year at powerhouse Fork Union Military Academy, after lettering four times at Benedictine High School ... averaged 12.0 ppg and 5.0 apg at Fork Union in 2005-06, and is the first player in almost 30 years from Fork Union to play at Navy ... while at Benedictine, Harris led the school to a combined 70-22 record over the last three years and the 2003 and 2004 Virginia State Catholic Championships ... in 2003, Benedictine also won the Virginia Independent State Championship ... was the 2004 MVP of the State Catholic Tournament and 2005 team captain, defensive player of the year and earned a spot on the Benedictine Capital City Classic All-Tournament Team ... was a member of National Honor Society and served as the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper ... full name is Christopher Paul Harris ... son of Tim and Pam Harris ... born Oct. 19, 1986, in Dallas, Texas ... was a teammate of Army's Marcus Nelson, Holy Cross' Lawrence Dixon, Loyola's (Md.) Marquis Sullivan, American's Andre Ingram and St. John's Tomas Jocelinas ... father played basketball at Virginia Commonwealth (1977-80), leading the Rams to the 1980 NCAA Tournament, while his cousin, Tami Harris, competed in gymnastics at Nebraska (2000-03) ... majoring in political science.
