Mids March On to League Finals, Defeat Holy Cross, 9-5
The Navy baseball team rallied from two early deficits to defeat Holy Cross, 9-5, in the third and deciding game of the Patriot League Semifinal series on Sunday at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium. Navy improved to 32-23-1 on the year, while Holy Cross ended its season with a 21-28 record.

Drake Pitches Mids to Doubleheader Split with Holy Cross
After dropping the first game of Saturday's baseball doubleheader, Navy starting pitcher Oliver Drake (So./Gardner, Mass.) tossed 7.2 quality innings to force a third and deciding game in the best-of-three Patriot League semifinal series against Holy Cross at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium. The Midshipmen bounced back with a 12-1 win in the nightcap after the Crusaders won game one, 6-0.

Navy Begins Quest for League Title Against Holy Cross this Weekend
The Navy baseball team (30-22-1, 11-9 Patriot League), the No. 2 seed in this year's Patriot League Tournament, will host its first playoff game since the 2002 season when third-seeded Holy Cross (20-26, 11-9 Patriot League) comes to Annapolis this weekend for a best-of-three semifinal series. The two teams will play a pair of nine-inning contests on Saturday, starting at 12 noon. If necessary, the Midshipmen and the Crusaders will meet for a nine-inning game on Sunday at 12 noon.
