KINGS POINT, N.Y. -- This past weekend, the Navy intercollegiate sailing team raced in the America's Trophy at Kings Point. With a third-place finish out of 18 teams at this regatta, the team qualified to compete in the ICSA / Gill Coed Dinghy National Championship. The IC team has now qualified for all three National Championships this year, the first time that has happened since 1997. Andrew Vann sailed with Krysta Anthony and Maggie Reynolds to finish fourth in the A division. Bryan Rigby competed with Tina Pryne in FJs in B division while Martin Sterling sailed with Christina Chance and Trisha Kutkiewicz in 420's in B division, finishing third.
