Q: Love the straight shooting in this column. NO B/S. I think that has a lot to do with the winning lately...NO B/S. Keep up the excellent work. Regards, - asked by: Tom Hagan '69 -
A: Thanks, Tom, for the support. Appreciate the commitment you and the rest of our great lacrosse alumni are making to the new Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium Hall of Fame. It's going to be a magnificent facility, and with your leadership, I'm sure it will be finished and open to the public soon.

Q: Mr. Gladchuk: I really appreciate all the positive contributions you have made for our athletic program. Honestly, I couldn't name one mistake that you have made.
All of us are excited about football as well as some of the other sports. I would like to pas something along to you from my Mid daughter. She ('07 and Crew letter winner this past year) attended USC for two years before coming to Navy. She is a huge baseball fan (she was a great softball player herself, and her brother, '03, played baseball at Navy, and I coached high school, etc., for many years). Anyway, she and a couple of her girlfriend Mids were at a home baseball game early in the season. It was terrible weather and freezing cold. There were only a handful of people there. She said that you came over to them three different times during the game and thanked them for their support of the team, etc. That meant a lot to her and her Mid friends. She never missed a home game at USC, but said that while USC may have a superior baseball program, the AD never came over personally and thanked her for attending and for her support. I just wanted to pass that along to you, and give you some feedback from the Mids you touched. It means a lot and makes them feel special. Also, I want you to know that I normally fly out from Calif.for two Navy football games a year, as well as several Women's Crew meets. Thanks for all you have done. - asked by: Scott Phelps -
A: Thanks, Scott, for the kind remarks. I remember the day very vividly. My fingers are still numb from the cold weather. To see those Midshipmen sitting there supporting our team under the difficult conditions made me sincerely appreciate the support they were giving our players. Your kind remarks are very much appreciated.
