Q: I have been a long supporter of the Captain's BBQ and love it; however, why are we ushered out at kickoff when the Superintendent's tent can stay in business? Additionally, one staffer stated they can't serve alcohol at the BBQ after kickoff, but the Varsity Club was serving beer at the very same sport during half-time, and the Superintendent's tent continued throughout the game. A: Sam, thanks for your comments and support. The Captain's BBQ is set up to be pre-game only. It ends when the game starts so we can clean up and get things set up for the Varsity Club tent, which starts at halftime.
