The all-weather track located northeast of Michelson Hall and Chauvenet Hall is the site of Navy's outdoor track and field meets. The field is named in honor of Vice Admiral Jonas H. Ingram who commanded the U.S. South Atlantic Fleet during World War II. He was also the Naval Academy Director of Athletics from 1925-1930.
